Eligibility Criteria for Chinese Government Scholarship 2026

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be 18–25 years old
• Must be a citizen of a Belt and Road Initiative country
• Must have completed high school education
• Applicants graduating in 2026 must submit a pre-graduation certificate confirming degree completion by July 2026
• Language Requirements:
  • Admission: HSK Level 5
  • Graduation: HSK Level 6
• Applicants who do not meet language requirements will not be accepted

Scholarship Regulations & Annual Evaluation

• Students must study full-time at Nanjing University
• Distance learning or school transfer is not permitted
• Leaving campus during the academic year is not allowed without official approval
• Annual scholarship assessment is conducted from March to May each year
• Failure to pass the assessment may result in suspension or cancellation of the scholarship
