Eligibility Criteria of the Skoltech University Scholarship in Russia 2025

• All domestic and international students are eligible to apply.
• For Master’s degree scholarship
  • The students must have graduated from recognized universities in the final year of undergraduate studies.
• For PhD scholarship
  • The students must have a master’s degree from a recognized university in a relevant field.
  • If a student has a bachelor’s or master’s in humanities, social sciences, or business, he/she must have significant training in the mentioned fields to get selected.
• No GRE score is required.
• If the applicant has received a degree from the university in English language TOEFL or IELTS score is not required.
• Applicants must prove their English proficiency, as Skoltech’s instruction is in English. Accepted tests and minimum scores are:
  • TOEFL iBT: 80
  • TOEFL ITP: 450
  • IELTS: 6.0
• These test scores must be valid for two years from the test date. Applicants with a degree from a university where English is the medium of instruction are exempt from this requirement. No exceptions are made, and only TOEFL and IELTS scores are accepted.

How to apply for the Skoltech University Scholarship in Russia 2025?

Applying for a Master’s program at Skoltech involves a structured selection process:

1. Online Application: Submit your application through Skoltech’s online portal, including:

   • Personal Statement/Motivation Letter: Detailing your academic and professional goals.
   • Resume (CV): Outlining your educational background and relevant experience.
   • Two Letters of Recommendation: Preferably in English; if in Russian, provide an English translation alongside the original.
   • Academic Credentials: Diploma and/or current transcript, if available.
   • English Proficiency Test Scores: TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English Qualifications, or Linguatest results, if applicable.
   • GRE Scores: Optional, but a high score may enhance your application.

2. Online Testing: Qualified applicants will be invited to take an online test relevant to their chosen program.
